Say Yes
Anyway.

When it doesn't make sense.
When you're afraid.
When obedience costs you.
When you don't know what comes next. Say Yes Anyway.

What Does “Say Yes Anyway” Mean?

Four movements, one honest journey

Discerning God's leading isn't a formula and it isn't a single feeling. It's a practice, held together by four movements.

01

Hear Clearly

Create space to listen. Scripture, read prayerfully and consistently, is the foundation for recognizing God's voice above the noise.

02

Discern Wisely

Test what you sense against Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, and the fruit of a Christlike character — not on strong feeling alone.

03

Trust Deeply

Choose to trust God's character even before the outcome is visible — and even when the answer, for now, is to wait.

04

Obey Courageously

Say yes in the small, ordinary moments. Obedience is a practice, not a single decision — and it doesn't promise a particular outcome.

Words from Say Yes Anyway.

"The goal of obedience is not to become impressive; it is to become like Jesus."

Say Yes Anyway, Jesus: The Ultimate Yes

The Book

Say Yes Anyway

A 30-Day Devotional on Hearing and Obeying the Voice of God

by Dr. Kwesi Gyimah

Say Yes Anyway walks through thirty days of Scripture — from Noah and Abraham to Mary, Peter, and Paul — meeting men and women who heard something unreasonable-sounding from God and obeyed anyway, across the same four movements at the heart of this site. Each day pairs a Scripture reading with honest reflection, a practical next step, a journaling prompt, and a closing prayer.

"Nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." — Luke 5:5, KJV
